FAQs
Will it fit Mum's shower?
It needs a flat patch of floor about 42.5 cm wide and 33 cm
deep. Most shower floors slope towards the drain, so put it where the floor is flattest and
check all four feet sit firm.
How wide is the seat?
It's 42.5 cm wide overall, including a hand-hold at each end, so the
part she sits on is narrower.
How much weight does it hold?
The weight limit is 158.8 kg (350 lb).
Is it hard to put together?
No tools needed. Five screws fix the frame to the seat by hand,
then the legs push in until the buttons click. Our setup guide is on the website.
What height should I set it to?
Set it so Mum sits with her feet flat on the floor; there are
six settings from 36 to 48.5 cm. Try it together, fully dressed, before her first shower.
What if Mum won't use it?
We can't promise she will. Australian aged-care researchers say to expect more than one conversation, and to let the person she trusts most raise it,
which might be her GP. If she won't try it, return it unused within 30 days for a full refund.
How long does delivery take?

Can Support at Home or the NDIS pay for it?
If Mum already has Support at Home, ask her provider about the assistive technology scheme. If Mum is an NDIS participant, ask her plan manager about low-cost assistive technology; we'll send an itemised invoice.

Putting it together
Setting up the Contour Seat: no tools needed.
1. Turn the seat upside down.
Lay the two curved frames across the underside and fix them with the five screws and washers, tightened by hand.
2. Push a leg into each frame end
Push a leg into each frame end until its button clicks through a hole. Set all four legs to the same height
3. Stand it up
Stand it on the flattest part of the shower floor, away from the drain. Press each corner to check all four feet sit firm.
4. Let Mum try it
Lay the soft pad on the seat, and fit the hand-shower clip to a front leg. Set it up together, and let Mum try it fully dressed first, with her feet flat on the floor

Changed your mind, or Mum won't try it? Return it unused, in its original packaging, within 30 days for a full refund. Return postage is at your cost.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
