The Bathroom Bench
Most shower chairs look like hospital junk, but this one doesn't.
I'm Michael. I made the Bathroom Bench.
It's a bench for the shower and that's all it is. White and curved, with a small shelf underneath for your shampoo and soap. No arms bolted on the side, nor any grey rubber. Most people would look at it and think it's a stool or table, and that was the idea.
A few numbers: it's 56cm wide and 32cm deep. The seat is 46cm off the floor. That's a bit lower than a kitchen chair. It holds 100kg. The rubber feet grip wet tiles so it doesn't slide around. It won't rust, nor go mouldy.
If you've had one of the cheap plastic ones, you'll notice it wobble. Whereas this one doesn't.
It goes in the shower, or perhaps just outside it.
It's somewhere to sit while you wash...
Or somewhere dry off and get dressed - so you don't have to stand on one leg.
We purposely built it without arms. If you need to push up on handles to get to your feet, this isn't the right one for you. You'd want a medical chair with arms instead - I'd rather tell you now than have you send it back.
It's for someone still fairly steady on their feet who just wants somewhere decent to sit.

There's one size only. If your bathroom is on the small side, measure first. It takes up 56 by 32cm of the floor.
It also takes about 10 minutes to put together with a normal screwdriver. Most people do it on the kitchen table.
Another thing which I'd rather say up front. It does takes a few weeks to arrive (unfortunately we aren't a giant chair-producing company, and we don't own a big factory in our backyard).
