simpliq offers two modes.

Timed Lock Mode lets you set a countdown from 1 minute to 30 days — once started, the box stays locked until the timer runs out.
It automatically unlocks once the countdown timer reaches zero.

Instant Lock Mode lets you lock and unlock on demand by long-pressing the D+H buttons, perfect for meals, gym sessions, or focused work blocks.

simpliq fits all standard smartphones — including the largest models like the iPhone 16 Pro Max and Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra — as well as smaller devices like a Kindle.

At 23.9 x 13.1 x 9.6 cm, most tablets are too large to fit. If you're mainly locking away your phone, simpliq has you covered.

Yes. simpliq has two ventilation holes in the lid that allow you to pass a charging cable through, so your device can charge and stay connected to Wi-Fi even while locked away.

Not without breaking it. simpliq is built from thick PP plastic — it's not going anywhere until the timer runs out. That's intentional.

If you think you'll need regular access to your phone during a session, Instant Lock Mode is the better fit. Use Timed Lock Mode when you're ready to fully commit.

simpliq runs on 2 x AA batteries, which are not included in the box.

Apps can be deleted, bypassed, or ignored. simpliq creates a physical barrier, removing the option to negotiate with yourself entirely. Once locked, your mind stops bargaining — there's simply no way in until the timer ends.
